A rally to “say no” also organized in Toulouse on Sunday

As in Paris, the inhabitants of Toulouse are called to come together against anti-Semitism this Sunday, November 12. The centrist mayor of the Pink City, Jean-Luc Moudenc, has just formalized this mobilization already mentioned on Tuesday by the PS of Haute-Garonne. It will take place at 4 p.m. on the Place du Capitole.

“In Toulouse, perhaps more than elsewhere in view of our history and our shared values, we cannot, nor must, remain silent in the face of the increase in hateful acts observed in recent times,” writes the councilor, referring to the bloody attack perpetrated by Mohammed Merah at the Ozar Hatorah Jewish school on March 19, 2012.

The mayor of the Pink City wants the participation of “all, without any exclusion and whatever [votre] political sensitivity. “No partisan quarrel – very trivial – can taint this fight,” he warns. Because, more than ever, we need to be united around what is essential.”
