A police officer violently hit by a young man on a motorcycle who was riding at full speed near a college

The video that has been circulating since Monday on X is impressive. We see a young man on a motocross bike, wearing a helmet, riding at high speed, in front of passers-by, near the Leclerc college in Schiltigheim, a town bordering Strasbourg.

While pedestrians on the sidewalks remain frozen in stupor, a municipal police officer signals the young biker to stop, arms spread out in the middle of the road, and tries to intervene. But the motorcyclist did not stop and hit the police officer very violently. The biker, in the shock, also fell to the ground in the middle of the road under the stunned gaze of a passerby with a stroller. The driver then fled on foot, pursued by the police officer who courageously got up to intercept him.

According to a police source, the young biker, a 17-year-old teenager, was doing wheelies in the neighborhood before the video.

He was finally arrested by a patrol in a nearby street before being taken into custody. He was riding an unapproved 450 cc motocross bike according to a police source who also accuses him of having intentionally hit their colleague. The police officer suffered several bruises, notably on his knee and wrist, and was taken to hospital.
