Economy: Minimal growth in Germany – Economy

The German economy is not coming out of the crisis for the time being. In the first three months of the year, gross domestic product grew by a minimal 0.2 percent after shrinking last year. Contributing to the small recovery was the fact that industry produced a little more in some cases and a mild February allowed more construction activity. After difficult times, the Federal Republic will once again see no significant growth and thus additional income in 2024 as a whole, making it worse off than all other major economies. There will only be real hope in 2025 – ironically, when the next federal election is coming up.
