A parent of a student sentenced to suspended prison sentence for punching a teacher

The events occurred Thursday morning. Next to Nancy, at the primary school in Tomblaine (Meurthe-et-Moselle), a father attacked a teacher. Four days later he was convicted. The court gave him a four-month suspended prison sentence, reports The Republican East.

At the hearing, the defendant’s lawyer admitted that her client had engaged in “disproportionate behavior”. He insulted and punched three times in the shoulder of the teacher who did not recognize him and ordered him not to film the schoolyard. “The teacher did not have an appropriate reaction either,” her counsel also said.

He will also have to pay a fine of 150 euros. The deputy prosecutor had requested eight months in prison with suspended probation against this thirty-year-old who was already unfavorably known to the police.
