A man disappeared in the Rhône, the search stopped

A 20-year-old young man threw himself into the Rhône in downtown Lyon from the Wilson bridge around 3 a.m. on the night of Saturday to Sunday, reports Progress. The circumstances of his act are still unclear and the search undertaken during the night to try to find him was unsuccessful. These were arrested early Sunday evening.

The city is unfortunately regularly the scene of drowning in the rivers that cross it. Last August a young man had tried to swim across the Rhône before being found lifeless a little further downstream.
