A Girondin soon to be tried for death threats against Cyril Hanouna and Arthur

A 29-year-old Girondin will appear in the criminal court on March 28 for having made anti-Semitic death threats against the hosts Cyril Hanouna and Arthur, we learned on Tuesday from the Bordeaux public prosecutor’s office.

This driving school instructor, “unknown until then to the police and justice services” except for a lack of insurance, was arrested on Saturday at his home in Floirac, near Bordeaux, said prosecutor Frédérique Porterie, confirming information from the newspaper Sud Ouest.

Under judicial supervision until the hearing

“The accused admitted all the facts and threats”, which also targeted Cyril Hanouna’s bodyguard, and was placed under judicial supervision “until his appearance at the hearing, with a ban on contact with victims and obligation to report to the police station every week,” adds the magistrate in a press release.

On October 15, Arthur declared on in Israel, in Paris, two days after the bloody attack by Hamas on October 7 on Israeli soil.

Cyril Hanouna, for his part, denounced hate messages on social networks on October 31 in his show Touche pas à mon Poste, deploring having read “articles which said “Boycott TPMP” because we condemned the terrorist attack of 7”.
