A pilgrim goes missing on the way to Santiago de Compostela

He had gone to walk on the road to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, to reach Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, to Ronceveaux, in Spain, reports Sud-Ouest. Nicolas Acquitter, 45 years old and living in Finistère, has not given any news to his loved ones since late Friday. The Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port gendarmerie is issuing a call for witnesses this Saturday, after this disappearance, considered worrying.

Equipped for mountain hiking

Of slim build, the pilgrim is 1.76 m tall and has brown hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a beige sweater and mountain pants. He took with him a tent and a portable solar battery.
