Ismaning: “UFO exhibition” in the palace pavilion – district of Munich

If you want to see art of an almost extraterrestrial quality, you should plan an expedition to the Ismaninger Schlosspark next week. From Tuesday, January 17th to Sunday, January 22nd, the “Museum of Extraterrestrial Art” is presenting the exhibition “UFO – Unknown Objects”. The exhibition in the gallery in the palace pavilion is organized by Q12 students as part of a project seminar at the Ismaning high school. The project supervisors are art teacher Wolfgang Köppl and Rasmus Kleine, director of the Kallmann Museum in Ismaning. The P-Seminar stages specially made and found objects as extraterrestrial found objects. The “Museum of Extraterrestrial Art” was specially established for the exhibition, which will open at 6 p.m. on Monday, January 16. It will be interesting to see which objects are presented, what exactly they represent and what stories lie behind them.

On Sunday, January 15, a public tour with Alexandra A. Hoffmann will also be offered in the neighboring Kallmann Museum. Two exhibitions can currently be seen there: Works by the Kallmann Prize winner Aneta Kajzer (“Flowing Creatures”) and portrait art by Hans Jürgen Kallmann (“Heads of the Federal Republic”). The tour starts at 3 p.m., participation costs two euros plus admission.
