Conviction
Patrick and Isabelle Balkany were sentenced on appeal in May 2020 to respectively five and four years in prison for laundering tax fraud, without immediate imprisonment due to their state of health. At first instance, Patrick Balkany was sentenced to four years, with a warrant of committal.
