For three days, the 9th Ottobrunn Guitar Festival is all about the classical acoustic guitar. First we go to South America: In a (double) double concert on Friday, May 10th, Brazil specialist Ahmed El-Salamouny, together with percussionist Gilson de Assis, will first dedicate themselves to the work of Baden Powell. Afterwards, the duo of guitarist Giampaolo Bandini and bandeonist Cesare Chiacchiaretta plays a homage to Astor Piazzolla. The next day, Croatian Ana Vidović, who lives in the USA, is one of the currently brightest six-string classical stars. On Saturday and Sunday, the three guitar masters will also be giving workshops together with the artistic director of the Ottobrunner Concerts Johannes Tonio Kreusch and the innovative German guitarist Claudio Boesser-Ferrari.
