6 p.m. news – The Taylor Swift phenomenon descends on New York for the release of her album

The musical event of the day, and for millions of fans, it is undoubtedly even the event of the month, even of the year. Taylor Swift finally released her eleventh album this Friday, April 19. The Swift phenomenon is particularly impressive in the United States where event evenings were even organized for this new album entitled The Tortured Poets Department.

In the basement of this Manhattan bar, almost 200 Swifties met to a “listening party”, a shared listening session. And at midnight sharp, the time of the release of their idol’s album in New York, it’s a bit of a New Year’s atmosphere with a countdown. Even if the beginning is a little sluggish, these two Swifties love it.

“It’s great. So far, I really like it. Even if we’ve only heard one song so far, we love it,” they confide. Demiala came from Florida for this occasion. “I really love Taylor Swift and I wanted to be a part of this album release. She’s an icon, a legend, a poet. This album will be iconic, I’ve been a fan for so long, I’m so happy to be alive that,” she believes.

Diana, from “Your Events to Life”, has organized several parties in New York, but also in Los Angeles, always with the same success. “We have people of all agesspecifically people from Generation Z and millennials, and we’re just there to have a good time,” she explains.
