More than 100 officers have been on duty since December. 1.3 million telephone fraud calls were secured.
Investigators from several countries have dismantled a large network of telephone fraudsters. The Baden-Württemberg Interior Minister Thomas Strobl (CDU) spoke in Stuttgart about the discovery of one Call center fraud on a scale never seen before in Europe.
Since December, more than 100 officers have been working in shifts and have secured 1.3 million telephone fraud calls. In mid-April, 21 people were arrested in large-scale searches together with Europol in five countries, primarily in the Western Balkans.
