Sesame Street turns fifty this year, and on this occasion its changeability is honored in detail. That the good old Cookie Monster is now on the road with a “Foodie Truck” on RTL and teaches the children how to skin tomatoes. Sesame Street also sheds its skin, it renews itself, otherwise it would no longer exist. But Sesame Street is also part of television history, and so it is to the credit of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg to commemorate the tradition of the old Sesame Street, which campaigned for a pluralistic society as early as the 1970s. It has remained so up to the present.
