Restaurant vouchers will disappear “before 2026”, announced on Franceinfo this Monday Olivia Grégoire, the Minister Delegate in charge of Small and Medium Enterprises and Commerce.
While 5 million employees in France today use meal vouchers, around 40% are still issued in paper format. And it is the coexistence of the two formats, paper and electronic, which weighs on restaurateurs. This dematerialization should thus make it possible to “simplify the procedures” for the latter. The government is also considering capping commissions received by issuing companies.
