6.36 million viewers watched the new “Polizeiruf 110” episode from Munich on Sunday evening entitled “The light that the dead see”. Criminal inspector Elisabeth “Bessie” Eyckhoff (Verena Altenberger) has to solve the murders of two 16-year-old girls. In the course of the investigation, she comes across Stefanie Reither. The ice-cold, highly manipulative girl was played by Zoë Valks (left). The Swiss-Dutch actress impressed with her frighteningly convincing portrayal of a person who does cruel things out of boredom and for whom others are just puppets. It was not the first role that Zoë Valks has played on German television.
