Today’s special broadcast by “Zervakis & Opdenhövel” is dedicated to aid projects for Ukrainian refugees. Celebrities like Marie Nasemann or Diana zur Löwen accept offers of help on the phone.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has triggered an unprecedented wave of refugees. Countless Ukrainians are leaving their homes for fear of Putin’s bombs, including many women with children. Germany has already taken in several hundred thousand people, and more are coming every day. In today’s program, Linda Zervakis deals with the topic in the absence of her Corona-sick co-moderator Matthias Opdenhövel on ProSieben. With the help of many prominent guests, money and relief supplies are to be organized for Ukraine.

The magazine also deals journalistically with the war: In “Zervakis & Opdenhövel. Live. Spezial.” From 9.25 p.m. there will be a report in which singer Rea Garvey personally accompanies an aid transport to Lviv. In addition, the founder of the aid organization ArtHelps, Thomas Lupo, talks about his impressions of Ukraine in the special broadcast.

Cathy Hummels on the phone

Numerous celebrities accept offers of help on the donation phone on the free number 0800-4766661. Cathy Hummels, Timur Bartels, Diana zur Löwen, Marie Nasemann, Malik Harris and Simon Gosejohann are at the machines. Many of these stars also referenced the show on their own social media profiles.

Among other things, goods are needed for aid organizations throughout Germany. Including furniture and electrical appliances for home furnishings, sporting goods (sneakers and jerseys). However, specific job offers are also being sought for Ukrainians.

At the same time, a collection campaign for the Heimatstern eV is taking place in the cultural center in Munich. Donations in kind for refugees can be made here. Fleece blankets, hygiene items (shower gel, deodorant, shampoo), toothbrushes and toothpaste, baby products (nappies, baby food, wipes), food (noodles, rice, biscuits, chocolate bars, canned ready meals) and pet food are needed.

“Zervakis & Opdenhövel. Live. Special.” will be broadcast on ProSieben at 9:25 p.m.
