Interest in their kissing scenes “very strange”

Kissing scenes are part of the job when you’re an actor. However, Zendaya’s on-screen kisses seem to get a surprising amount of attention.
Zendaya (27) is one of the hottest actresses of recent years. However, the American thinks it is extremely strange that this obviously means that there is increased interest in her kissing scenes. Zendaya has that in an interview with “Jake’s Takes” about her new film “Challengers – Rivals”, which, among other things, is about a love triangle consisting of her character and those of Mike Faist (32) and Josh O’Connor (33).
Zendaya: “I know, it’s very strange.”
Jake Hamilton asked Zendaya that he had noticed that the actress’ film kisses were getting an “abnormal” amount of attention, especially in interviews. And the 27-year-old can only agree: “I know, it’s very strange.” Hamilton wonders: Have people simply forgotten that this is part of their job? Or were they just trying to get Zendaya to talk about kissing?
“I have no idea. I don’t know if it’s because they want it to be a viral thing […]. But I’ve noticed that, especially with myself,” Zendaya explains. “I feel like other actors don’t… if it was anyone else here, you probably wouldn’t be asking that question.” But yeah, it’s just a It’s a completely normal part of her job, even if some people may perceive it differently. Zendaya thanks Hamilton for bringing up the whole situation because it was “strange” for her.
“Challengers” tells the story of the tennis player Tashi (Zendaya) and the rivalry between the two once-friends players Art (Faist) and Patrick (O’Connor) – on the court and in a love triangle. In Germany, Luca Guadagnino’s (52, “Call Me by Your Name”) new film will be released in cinemas on April 25th.
