New details have emerged about the dispute between Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid’s mother, Yolanda Hadid. And they don’t throw a good light on the singer.

When Gigi Hadid left Fashion Week in Paris early on September 30th, although she was supposed to be running for the Isabel Marant fashion label that evening, no one knew the reason for the spontaneous change of plan.

Now the world has learned why the model had to go back home to the US east coast as soon as possible.

Zayn Malik is said to have insulted Yolanda and Gigi Hadid

On September 29, there was an apparently devastating argument between Gigi Hadid’s partner, musician Zayn Malik, and her mother, Dutch model Yolanda Hadid. Malik is said to have insulted Hadid as a “Dutch sl ****” and ordered her to stay away from his “damn daughter”. He and Gigi Hadid are parents to one-year-old Khai.

Court documents indicate that he pushed Yolanda Hadid against a chest of drawers. His partner Gigi Hadid, from whom he is now said to be separated, was also involved in the dispute. Malik is said to have called Hadid, who was still in Paris at the time. “Dress up some fucking eggs and defend your partner against your fucking mother in my house,” he yelled at her. He is said to have said to a security employee: “Fuck off my house, cop.”

He does not defend himself against allegations

The former One Direction singer has been charged with fourfold harassment and pleaded “no contest,” which means he does not want to contest the lawsuits. He is fined and sentenced to 90 days probation for each charge, for a total of 360 days.

His record label has now reacted and dropped the artist. On Wednesday, the 28-year-old published a statement on Twitter in which he explained why he does not want to defend himself against the allegations. He wanted to create a “private and safe space” for daughter Khai and therefore decided to do so. In a statement to “TMZ”, however, he denied having been violent towards Yolanda Hadid.
