Two 16-year-olds from the district of Munich were attacked and robbed on Easter Sunday night in the middle of the pedestrian zone. The perpetrators were also young people. The robbery happened a few minutes after midnight when the two 16-year-olds met a group of four. After an initial argument, one of the 16-year-olds was hit by one of the group, the attackers took his mobile phone and fled.
The 16-year-old called 911, and the police sent several patrol cars to the scene. A 14-year-old suspect known to the police and residing in Munich was arrested in the area. However, he did not have the stolen cell phone with him. The 14-year-old was taken to a police station and handed over to his father after the police measures had been completed. The Munich criminal police took over the further investigations.
