Young people’s book about the climate crisis: “Fire. Water. Earth. Storm” by Boris Pfeiffer – Culture

At the end of the second page there is this saving sentence: “And yet there was hope.” In the previous paragraphs, the author Boris Pfeiffer threw his readers right into the middle of the apocalypse: a lonely boy wanders through a devastated country with a herd of buffalo. Without the animals, this Drdjuck suspects, “first his soul and then his body would have starved.” And it seems as if you were there, part of this strange community, exposed to the same heat and hardship and uncertainty. Which definitely doesn’t feel good.
