Were the pangs of conscience too great? A 15-year-old stole from a supermarket in Upper Franconia and brought back his loot shortly afterwards. The young person first put a packet of cigarettes in his jacket on Monday and then left the store in Marktredwitz (Wunsiedel district in the Fichtelgebirge), the police said on Tuesday.
When witnesses asked the thief about it, he fled. Only a short time later he went back, admitted the theft and handed over his loot. The 15-year-old is being investigated.
