Bad weather in the South-East this Sunday

Bad weather will set in this Sunday in the south-east of France, as far as the Rhône valley and Burgundy, announced The Weather Channel* in its daily bulletin. It will continue to rain in these regions this afternoon, except in the east of the PACA region where the weather will become dry and brighter again.

The rains will be temporarily heavy and sometimes mixed with a clap of thunder from Languedoc to the Massif Central, and in particular in the Cévennes where significant accumulations will be expected. More moderate rains will reach the west of Occitanie and in particular Roussillon. In the rest of France, a few showers will occur in the morning on the Atlantic coast and near the English Channel.

Clearings will be observed elsewhere. In the afternoon, the sky will remain changeable but showers will increase in the lands of Aquitaine to the North-West. These showers will become locally stormy in Brittany and the Pays de la Loire north of the Seine. In the first part of the day, the southwest wind will blow quite strongly from the Paris region and from Normandy to the Belgian border, up to 80 km/h in gusts on the coasts. In the South-East, the east to south-east wind will remain sensitive but will no longer exceed 50 to locally 70 km/h.

Minimum temperatures will generally be between 5 and 10 degrees, between 10 and 14 in the Mediterranean arc. The maximums will reach 13 to 17 degrees, locally 18/19 from Berry to the South-West, 19 to 21 in the Var and sometimes 25 in the west of Corsica.
