On this great day of deconfinement, the people of Toulouse can go to the movies, to the museum and to go shopping… but still not to walk on the banks of the Garonne. In agreement with the town hall,
the prefect Etienne Guyot announces his decision to extend – once again – the closure of the platforms, until Sunday May 23 at midnight.

“To date, in Haute-Garonne, and in Toulouse in particular, the circulation of the virus remains active,” explains the State representative. As of May 14 in Toulouse, the incidence rate for the general population is 166 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. It is therefore essential to continue the fight against the spread of the virus and thus maintain certain restrictive measures ”.

No need to plan an aperitif in the open air to celebrate the shift of the curfew to 9 p.m. This cautious deconfinement is accompanied by the renewal of the ban on alcohol consumption in parks and public gardens.
