A large police force prevented a dispute between around 40 young people and young adults in Würzburg. A witness called the police on Saturday and reported an imminent confrontation between two youth groups on the former grounds of the garden show, the police said.
The officials were able to stop the confrontation before it even started. The adolescents aged 14 to 20 years were controlled. Small amounts of narcotics, a pocket knife, boxing gloves and a balaclava were seized. After the completion of the police measures, the young people were released.
