Did a 14-year-old kill his friend the same age? The public prosecutor’s office is now applying for an arrest warrant against the accused – for murder, no longer for manslaughter.

After the violent death of a 14-year-old from Wunstorf, the public prosecutor’s office in Hanover applied for an arrest warrant for murder. The accused, who is the same age, should be brought before the responsible juvenile judge, as the spokesman for the authorities Can Türkay said.

The day before, the 14-year-old suspect had been investigated for manslaughter. He had told the police that he had killed and hidden his friend.

Only after a search of several hours was the body of the missing boy discovered on a wasteland in the village of Wunstorf-Blumenau on Wednesday. As the NDR reported, citing investigators, the suspect is said to have planned the crime over several months and used a stone. The “Bild” also reported on a long preparation and a stone as a murder weapon. The public prosecutor’s office initially gave no information.

Police report from 25.01.
