The match was interrupted for a long time due to rain. In the final, number two seed Maria meets the winner of the second semifinal between Peyton Stearns of the USA and Russia’s Kamilla Rakhimova.

Wimbledon semi-finalist Maria is the only German starter at the clay court tournament in the Colombian capital, which is worth almost 260,000 US dollars. Next week, Maria will play against Brazil in the Billie Jean King Cup with the German women’s tennis team led by team boss Rainer Schüttler. The encounter will be held in Stuttgart on April 14th and 15th.
