Shortly before the World Championships in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic (February 7th to 18th), Franziska Preuß and Janina Hettich-Walz had to miss out on a start. The duo was missing due to a gastrointestinal infection. For the same reason, Selina Grotian was unable to take part in the individual race on Friday.
