Author Sven Stricker and actor Bjarne Mädel are friends and together they are responsible for a successful crime series. In an interview, they talk about how it came about and what appeals to them about the genre
Mr. Stricker, Mr. Mädel, you two have more in common than just working together, you are something like brothers in crime. How did that happen?
Knitter: We met almost 15 years ago while working on a radio play. I directed, Bjarne played a leading role. We stayed connected professionally.
Girl: Then there was a long drive home in the car after a job, during which we talked a lot. We’ve been friends ever since.
What have you found in each other?
Knitter: Japanese-style tofu fried fillets. I would never have thought of that on my own.
Girl: A reliable driver.
