The champions of Bayern Munich clinched the next mandatory victory on the second day of the Bundesliga. The front runner won 3-0 (2-0) at SC Sand on Saturday and underlined his good early form. At the start of last weekend, Munich had cleared Werder Bremen 8-0. Bayern players Linda Dallmann (20th) and Hanna Glas (37th) laid the foundation stone in the first half against Sand, Lea Schüller (55th) increased after the break.
It was much more difficult for VfL Wolfsburg against Werder on Saturday. Thanks to the late hits from Kathrin Hendrich (78th) and Ewa Pajor (90th + 2) to 2-0 (0-0), the cup winners won their second win of the season in Bremen and caught up with Bayern on points.
