The intervention of a hotel employee in Lattes, near Montpellier, certainly avoided a tragedy. When the fire broke out on Sunday morning, the employee of this Première Classe hotel immediately reacted by going to attack the flames with a fire extinguisher.
While the 19 clients of the establishment hurriedly left their rooms to meet at the meeting point provided for this purpose, the employee also saved one of the occupants of the establishment from the flames, trapped in her room. .
Two people intoxicated
When emergency services arrived, their intervention made it possible to almost contain the fire. After verification by the fire prevention officer, in particular of the fire-fighting system, which could be rearmed, only the room affected by the fire was isolated. Two people were poisoned. The other guests were able to return to their rooms.
