Wolfratshausen is looking for young people for an exchange with Japan – Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen

Three years after the start of the corona pandemic, most travel restrictions have been lifted. An interesting offer for young people is returning in Wolfratshausen: the city of Wolfratshausen and the Japanese Iruma are once again organizing their joint exchange program. From August 1st to August 8th, Riichiro Sugishima, Mayor of Iruma, invites eight young people between the ages of 17 and 21 to get to know the country and its people. Applicants must live in Wolfratshausen and should ideally have a good knowledge of English. Accommodation is with host families, and the participants have to bear the flight costs of around 1,600 euros themselves. Interested parties can apply by March 17 at [email protected]. A CV with a current photo is required for this. Iruma and Wolfratshausen are linked by a town twinning. The exchange between the two places was a popular offer among young people before the pandemic.
