The thriller on ARD was able to achieve a clear lead in the ratings. But the music programs have also attracted viewers. Which station is ahead?

The thriller “Without a trace in Athens” gave ARD a clear win in ratings on Saturday evening from 8:15 p.m. 6.05 million viewers saw the thriller with Silke Bodenbender as a desperate mother who is looking for her missing son in the Greek capital.

The market share was 22.5 percent. Following 2020’s ‘Without a trace in Marseille’, ‘Without a trace in Athens’ was the second installment in a loose series revolving around the inexplicable disappearance of a person.

ZDF countered with the “Giovanni Zarrella Show”. The entertainer welcomed guests like Roland Kaiser, Andrea Berg and the band Pur. 4.07 million people were in front of the screen, the market share was 16.5 percent.

Less popular shows close together

The casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” with head of the jury Dieter Bohlen reached 2.00 million (7.7 percent) on RTL. The fantasy adventure “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (1)” on Sat.1 turned on 1.10 million (4.4 percent). For the breakdown show “The world is amazed – the funniest breakdowns that life writes” at ProSieben, 1.01 million (3.9 percent) warmed up.

RTLzwei registered 770,000 people in front of the television (3.0 percent) with the thriller “Paycheck – Diebbing”. 710,000 people (2.7 percent) opted for the thriller “The Score” on ZDFneo, and 590,000 people (2.2 percent) for the action series “9-1-1 Notruf LA” on Kabel Eins. 540,000 people (2.4 percent) watched the documentary “Little professionals – when children make a career” on Vox.
