Some days after New Year’s Eve are more difficult than others. A 26-year-old man, who was taken care of by Marseille firefighters on the night of January 1, remained for two days with a bullet lodged in his jaw, reports BFM Marseille.
It all started on New Year’s Eve, when the young man was transported by emergency services to hospital for a facial trauma injury after a fall on a public road, the firefighters noted on their intervention sheet. The victim then returned home before, two days later, going to the police station to file a complaint and become unwell.
Transported to hospital again, a scanner revealed the presence of a bullet on the right side of his jaw with an entry wound located at the level of his temple, an injury which had obviously not been declared or spotted by the relief.
