Wirecard process: no mercy for the old colleague – economy

It all started with KPMG and it all ended with KPMG for Markus Braun. In the late 1990s, the young management consultant Braun switched from KPMG to the payment service provider, which would later rise under his leadership as Wirecard to the Dax group and shortly afterwards went down in a huge scandal – largely triggered by a devastating test report by KPMG.
