Chart success for ESC contributions

At the ESC he was banned from the final, but Joost Klein successfully entered the German charts. The Dutchman was able to place ahead of the winner Nemo.
Of all people, the Dutchman Joost Klein, who was banned from the Eurovision Song Contest final, has the most ESC entries made the most successful entry into the German single charts.
With his song “Europapa” he starts in 13th place, as GfK Entertainment reported. The Swiss winning act Nemo comes in at number 14 with the title “The Code”, the German candidate Isaak, who came twelfth in the competition, comes in at number 22 with “Always On The Run”.
According to GfK Entertainment, Ayliva & Apache 207 (“Wunder”) are at the top of the singles charts for the third time in a row. Behind them are Artemas (“I Like The Way You Kiss Me”, two) and Jaxomy, Agatino Romero & Raffaella Carrà (“Pedro”, three).
In the album charts, superstar Taylor Swift (“The Tortured Poets Department”) regains first place and relegates last week’s winner Reinhard Mey (“Nach Haus”) to second place. The hit trio Calimeros (“Shalala”) enters in third place.
