Another trial against insurers is looming in the Wirecard scandal. The insolvency administrator of the defunct group, Michael Jaffé, has filed a lawsuit with the Düsseldorf regional court against Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), AIG and R+V (Ref. 9 O 339/23). They are among the companies where Wirecard had taken out a manager liability policy – D&O for short in industry jargon – for its executives.
