Why there is no works council at Sixt after all – Economy

From the point of view of the three Sixt employees, the lawsuit before the Regional Labor Court (LAG) in Düsseldorf was worthwhile. The women had previously been terminated without notice by the Pullach car rental company in 2021, among other things because of multiple tardiness and trespassing. This was at a time when they were in the process of founding the company’s first works council in the Sixt branch at Düsseldorf Airport. After the LAG declared the dismissals in November 2022 ineffective and ruled out an appeal, Sixt had to hire the employees again.
