The chairman nods. He is silent. Omid Nouripour also doesn’t interrupt the nice gentleman from Airbus when he begins to describe this great new aircraft. “Huge business class and nice, wide seats,” says the employee, pointing to a half-finished fuselage that is just being assembled. Some seats are so bulky that they no longer fit through the cabin door when installed. “Also chic lighting, at its finest.” Nouripour nods again. The Greens chairman has no questions, at least not critical ones, about airplanes and climate protection or anything like that. Ecological objections? inconveniences? Another time.
