New controversy for The Holidays of Angels 4. After seeing its shooting interrupted in January after the exclusion of two candidates following a fight on the Island of Reunion, the NRJ12 reality show is again in full bad buzz following accusations of harassment made by several participants.
It all started with live Instagram. On April 15, Angèle Salentino and Rawell Saiidii candidates for the currently broadcast season of Holiday of the Angels exchange live with Céline Morel and Nathanya Sion, two participants from the previous season. The four young women confide in their respective experiences within the show and quickly come to address the “relentlessness” they would have suffered from some candidates during their adventure.

All denounce a system of harassment where the new protagonists would be targeted by old ones such as Sarah Fraisou or Raphaël Pépin. A “recurring mechanism” which, according to the young women, would be encouraged by the production of the reality show season after season. “I have the impression that it is the signature of the ‘Angels’, the harassment. Every year everything is put in place, as much by the candidates as by the production, so that there is a person who suffers from relentlessness. […] because it makes people react on the networks and it raises the views, ”said Angèle Salentino.
A feeling shared by Nathanya Sion, who then reveals to have also been pressured by other candidates: “There is relentlessness in the adventure, but it goes beyond, it never stops. Put yourself in context, I’m a 19 year old girl who’s never done a reality show and I have all the biggest candidates against me. “
Rawell Saiidii, she confided how the production would have forced her to participate in the program when she had changed her mind: “They sent the police and firefighters to my house to break the door on the pretext that I ‘was sequestered,’ she detailed.
A supportive hashtag and initial reactions
On social networks, the four candidates called on Internet users to boycott the show, especially via hashtags #BoycottlesAngels and
# Boycottnjr12. Quickly appearing in Twitter trends – that is to say the most commented subjects – these keywords have allowed many viewers accustomed to the show to show their support by relaying excerpts from former or current episodes of the program intended to illustrate certain comments made by the participants of the program.

The call for a boycott sparked many reactions, especially from Sarah Fraisou, at the heart of the controversy. The latter, which appears in the 2021 edition of Holiday of the Angels wanted to respond to the criticisms of Internet users during a live Instagram but also to send a message of apology to Angèle Salentino: “If I caused you harm or what, I’m sorry, really. Because I’m really not as bad as you think I am. I didn’t look for you, you know it now, if our headaches have caused you any harm, I’m sorry, I can’t do better. “An apology far from having convinced all Internet users.
Contacted by 20 minutes, the production of the show did not comment on the case. Several candidates from Holiday of the Angels 4, including Angèle Salentino, were to go to the TPMP set on Monday to clarify the controversy.
