In Occitanie, we expect 13°C on waking in Cauterets, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, 11°C in Toulouse, Carcassonne and Perpignan. It will be 5°C in Millau. In the afternoon, the mercury could reach 21°C in Tarbes, 19°C in Albi. The lowest being around 12°C in Alès, in the Gard, where it should rain.

On the first day of the year 2023, the anticyclone will strengthen, extending to most of France. It will rain less north of the Loire towards the Channel coasts where the wind will always blow quite strongly. In the south, the sun will impose itself quite easily. Temperatures will often be 1 to 2°C milder than the day before, at the level of those that we usually have at the end of April, or even at the beginning of May.

In Occitania, it will continue to rain lightly on the Gard. Everywhere else, the sun will be present from the morning, with temperatures ranging from 8°C in Foix and Millau to 13°C degrees in Montpellier and Nîmes, passing through 10°C in Toulouse and Auch. In the afternoon, we expect up to 21°C in Auch, 20°C in Tarbes and 19°C in Toulouse.

Monday January 2

On Monday January 2, the disturbance will progress towards the eastern regions with light rain. The clearings will return near the English Channel. The lowest temperatures in the morning will be for the northwest, with 7°C in Brest and Rennes and 8°C in Nantes. It will be around 9°C all day in Paris.

In Occitania, the rain will gain ground from the West as the day progresses. It will be a maximum of 14°C in Montpellier in the morning, 11°C in Toulouse and a minimum of 6°C in Cauterets. The afternoon will be in the same gentle vein, with a high of 15°C in Montpellier and Nîmes.
