The weather is getting heavier and heavier with a more humid air mass infiltrating through the English Channel and the Atlantic. From the morning, a rainstorm front gives stormy rains between Pays-de-la-Loire, the Rennes basin and Lower Normandy. In the afternoon, the stormy showers spread towards the Paris Basin and Upper Normandy, circulating very randomly. The Hauts-de-France will be affected at the end of the day by storms.

From Brittany and Pays de la Loire to Normandy, the weather is unstable this morning with chaotic skies and stormy rains between eastern Brittany, Pays de la Loire and western Normandy. The weather remains dry with sunny spells over eastern Normandy. In the afternoon, fine clearings returned to western Brittany and the Pays de la Loire coast. Elsewhere, the weather remains unstable with sometimes heavy stormy showers.

From Centre-Val de Loire to Ile-de-France and Hauts-de-France, the weather is dry and sunny spells dominate this morning. In the afternoon, the weather becomes very hot and heavy and thunderstorms break out in places. These storms circulate randomly so that their precise location is difficult to predict. They can be accompanied by intense rains and locally by a little hail.

It is in the lower Rhône valley and the Provençal hinterland that the temperatures are the highest, sometimes exceeding 35°C.
