Another rainy weekend and then sun and temperatures close to 30 degrees again? The German weather service gives hope.
First an umbrella, then swimming trunks: the people in In the coming days, Germany will initially have to prepare for uncomfortable weather before it gradually improves in the middle of the week. On Sunday and at the beginning of the week there will be plenty of wind in Germany, the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Saturday.
“In the case of repeated, sometimes heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms, the umbrella must be held tight,” said DWD meteorologist Nico Bauer. The maximum values are therefore between 16 and 21 degrees. On Monday it will initially be variable to heavily cloudy. Scattered rain and isolated thunderstorms are possible. The temperatures are at most 15 to 21 degrees.
But people in Germany can still look forward to a ray of hope: “In the middle of the week, the weather gradually calms down and the temperatures make a significant leap upwards,” said Bauer. “From the southwest, the proportion of sunshine is gradually increasing again, so that we can look forward to the best bathing weather, especially in the southern half.”
