Relatively cool temperatures and precipitation make it difficult to feel spring. There is no improvement in sight this week.

The changeable April weather remains Germany continues to be preserved. “It is quite cool because the air is brought to us from polar regions,” explained meteorologist Jacqueline Kernn from the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach. A significant improvement in the weather is not in sight for the time being.

On Thursday the temperatures will be between 7 and 13 degrees, south of the Danube and in the mountains it will be even cooler. The weather will be worst in the southern half and on the coast, with changing clouds there will always be showers and sleet thunderstorms. In the rest of the republic the sun can be seen from time to time, it remains mostly dry. At night it cools down to minus two to five degrees.

Highs between 7 and 13 degrees are expected again on Friday. The wind is picking up again. In the southeast and south the sky is sometimes looser, otherwise clouds dominate and rain spreads from the northwest to the south. The snowfall limit is between 700 and 1000 meters.

Things don’t look much better on Saturday: changing clouds with rain or showers, isolated thunderstorms with sleet. At least the wind is dying down again. Temperatures are again around 7 to 13 degrees. It snows constantly in the Alps.
