A baby was discovered alone in a Hamburg hospital. The police are now asking the public for support.
In Hamburg, a baby was abandoned in the visitor toilet of a clinic. A trauma surgeon found the infant, who was only a few hours old, in the Heidberg Clinic in the Langenhorn district, as the police in the Hanseatic city announced on Tuesday.
According to the information, the girl was healthy and less than 24 hours old. There are also indications that the baby was not born in a hospital. The incident happened at the beginning of October. The Hamburg State Criminal Police Office’s investigations to date have not yielded any evidence of a perpetrator.

That’s why the police have now published a photo of the grayish sleeping bag decorated with hearts in which the girl was found. The healthy infant was handed over to the child and youth emergency service after a precautionary hospital stay.
