On September 29, the global music and entertainment company Warner Music Group (WMG) has announcedPartnership with nonfungible token (NFT) marketplace OpenSea to provide a platform for selected music artists. To build and expand their fan base to the Web3 community.
According to the disclosure stated collaboration between two departments It gives selected WMG artists early access to OpenSea’s newly released features, allowing artists to launch a limited number of NFT collections and projects on customizable drop pages.
These WMG artists will have access to a customizable landing page. Like OpenSea’s industry-leading security features, this partnership aims to help WMG artists build new Web3 communities and is intended to expand the existing fan base on OpenSea through new ways of connecting and Creativity through NFT and opens up new opportunities for fans to engage with music and artists within the Web3 community.
Shiva Rajaraman, Vice President of Products at OpenSea said:
