Russia and Ukraine report mutual drone attacks. A hotel was hit in Mykolaiv, southern Ukraine, and a drone was intercepted near a fuel depot in Kaluga, Russia. There were no injuries.

Russia and Ukraine also attacked each other with drone attacks last night. According to Governor Vitaly Kim, a hotel and an energy supply facility were hit in the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv. There were no casualties and the fire that broke out in the hotel as a result of the attack was quickly extinguished, Kim said on Telegram.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia deployed four Iranian-built “Shahed-131/136” combat drones and five other drones of unknown design. The four Shahed drones and one other drone were shot down, according to unverifiable information from the military.

The air strikes were less severe than the night before, when the Russian army used a combination of dozens of rockets, cruise missiles and combat drones.

Moscow: Dead after attack in Zaporizhia

According to authorities, two people were killed in Ukrainian shelling in the Zaporizhzhia region, which is partially occupied by Russia. As the Russian-appointed governor of the occupied territory, Yevgeny Balitsky, wrote on Telegram, two other people – a mother and her child – were injured in the attack in the town of Pologi. One house was destroyed and five others were damaged.

Three of them were destroyed in the Kaluga region south of Moscow, the remaining 14 drones were destroyed over the border regions of Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod, the ministry said on Telegram. These numbers cannot be independently verified either.
