“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” will be released in theaters! Disney confirmed on Monday that the next Marvel film, which it threatened to reserve for its online video platform, will be released on November 9 in France.
“The public authorities have clearly recognized the need to modernize the chronology of the media and a precise timetable has now been set to discuss it”, underlines the group, dissatisfied with this regulation which fixes the order in which films released in theaters can then broadcast on the Internet or on television.
The “Black Panther” sequel won’t be available on Disney+ until spring 2024 under current rules. Disney promises to contribute “in a constructive way to the reflections and debates during the next meetings with all the actors of the sector (…) in order to define from February 2023 a new framework (…) fair, flexible and incentive for the release of films in theaters movies “. Until then, “we will continue to decide on a case-by-case basis on the release strategy for our films”, he underlines.
