Vohenstrauß: woman gives birth to a child in front of the police station – Bavaria

The 26-year-old’s husband was being questioned in the office when she went into labor outside in the car. The officials brought blankets – and even had to resuscitate the newborn until it started screaming.

While officials were just questioning her husband, a woman gave birth to a child in front of a police station in the Upper Palatinate district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab. According to the police on Tuesday, officials took the couple to the station after a traffic check on Monday night. During the check, the officials found that the Munich public prosecutor’s office was looking for the 43-year-old man because of an alleged theft. They wanted to question the man at the police station.

Meanwhile, his pregnant wife was waiting in the couple’s car outside the building. Suddenly, the officers heard loud screams from the vehicle: the 26-year-old had unexpected contractions and birth had started, it was said. The police officers brought warm blankets to the car and the service group leader called for the rescue service and an ambulance. However, by the time emergency services arrived, the little girl was already born. According to the police, the little girl wasn’t breathing at first, which is why the police resuscitated her until she finally started screaming. Paramedics took the family to the hospital. According to police, the mother and child are doing well. According to the information, the search for the man could also be done.
