Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has proposed three ways to make Ethereum’s Proof of Stake easier, which is key.

Three ways to fix the problem
The first approach is to focus on This involves making the minimum amount of ether needed to run a validator much higher and forcing running validators to team up and pool their resources.
The second approach is to have two staker layers, with one layer having heavier requirements. and another layer has lighter requirements. The two layers are treated differently in the block finalization process.
A third method is to have a rotating set of participants. This means that a random set of validators is selected for each slot. This helps lighten the workload and reduce the total number of signatures, but as Buterin noted, it also adds complexity.
