After mass panic with dead: Drake comments on the disaster in Texas
The musician Drake first commented on the mass panic at the Astroworld Festival. Eight people died and 300 were injured in the disaster in Houston, Texas on Friday. Drake was on stage with the Canadian rapper and organizer Travis Scott during the accident. On his Instagram account Drake has now published a statement. “I have spent the last few days dealing with this devastating tragedy,” writes the 35-year-old. “My heart breaks at the thought of the families and friends of those who have lost their lives and all of those who are suffering. I will continue to pray for all of them and stand by them in any way I can,” he writes. It is still unclear whether the tragedy will have legal consequences for him. Travis Scott is already being sued, the musician is accused of heating up the audience too much.
